First, I'd like to notify you of the new club officers - the new Club President is Robert Hall (Me), I was formerly the vice president and co-founder. The new Vice President is Aaron Koplin. Second - I'd like to personally thank Steve Daneli, the former club president and co-founder, for his years of dedicated service. Steve was the driving force behind the founding of our chapter. It was his dedication that ensured we had a meeting place each year which was no easy task considering the Browns records and game play since the return. It was no easy task to convince business owners that there were dedicated fans who really did watch the Browns no matter what. He also had to contend with businesses going out of business with no notice. It is because of Steve that year in and year out we've always had a place to call home.

Third - As your new President and Vice President, Aaron and I are proud and excited to tell you that this year the Sarasota Browns Backer will have an Exciting NEW Home - Gecko's at the Landings located at:

The Gecko's folks are very happy to have us - there are at least 3 Browns fans on staff - and will be showing the Browns games in the outside dining area on the Big screen with about half of the area as reserved seating (after that it's first come, first served). We expect to finalize some specials specifically for our club in partnership with Gecko's. I'd like to thank Gecko's manager Dan Prieto, Doug Beviere and owners Mike and Mike for hosting us.

I'd encourage you all to visit Gecko's at the Landing on June 17th for their 17 Anniversary starting at 4pm with free BBQ (I'm told by Dotti) at 6pm. Please show up and let them know you're a Browns Backer! We'll see you there!
