7/18/2007 - Browns Sign 7th Round Pick Chase Pittman

The Browns have signed late-round pick Chase Pittman to a four-year contract. The deal takes Pittman through the 2010 year, should he manage to make the Browns roster.

Pittman is a Defensive End out of LSU. He was picked with the 213th pick of the 2007 NFL Draft, the first of 2 seventh round picks the Browns had. He is the first draftee to sign a contract from this year's draft.
