7/27/2007 - Winslow, Bentley, Baxter to be put on Active/PUP List

Tight end Kellen Winslow Jr., cornerback Gary Baxter and center LeCharles Bentley will be designated on the active/physically unable to perform list at the start of Browns training camp Friday.

But the club believes Winslow and Baxter will be acti vated upon passing physical exams over the next week. Bentley's status remains to be clarified. Players put on active/PUP are those who arrive at camp less than 100 percent healthy. The designation protects the club in the event the player begins the regular season still nursing the same injury.
