4/27/2008 - 2008 Draft - Updated Information

Browns make their 2008 Draft debut at the start the fourth round by making some moves. The Borwns traded their 2007 4th (122) and 5th (1) round picks and their 2009 3rd round pick to Dallas for two early 4th round picks - 104th pick and 111th pick.

The Browns picked Beau Bell - ILB from UNLV with the 104th pick and Martin Rucker TE with the 111th pick. In an ESPN interview with Phil Savage, Savage said, " Picking a TE was a value pick, not a need pick". Rucker is a large pass-catching TE with very good yards after the catch and can free up Kellen Winslow to run the seam route without being double covered.
